A simple statement like that is not the same as a banishing like the LBRH.

If you want to experiment, go ahead, but there's no "should" in there. The ritual works fine as written - but you can of course modify it and do some testing to see how well your modifications work.Scott Stenwickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12389664381513219613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-10545563029231463342022-06-28T13:55:33.233-05:002022-06-28T13:55:33.233-05:00Thanks, thanks, humble thanks. Interesting answer!...Thanks, thanks, humble thanks. Interesting answer!

In your MADRIAX Hexagram Ritual, LIRH, shouldn't we maybe leave out step 11, since it is similar to some banishing method (with the words "...cast down power") and only do that part with "closing the curtain" in LBRH?

Best wishes.Lazaronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00872516511961083452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-85399793093808913172022-06-28T11:49:07.020-05:002022-06-28T11:49:07.020-05:00Ten years ago when I wrote MTGT the idea was that ...Ten years ago when I wrote MTGT the idea was that the divine light would descend from above in the sense of "higher spiritual realms." But more recently, as I've drifted away from the Platonic model of the universe in which there are value-laden "higher" and "lower" realms, I would probably write it as "visualize the divine light filling the stone or mirror" with no reference to descending or ascending.

And yes, the spirits should "arrive" from the direction or directions you call them from. If you're working with all four quadrants, it will be coming from all four directions.Scott Stenwickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12389664381513219613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-16588014112784870842022-06-28T03:27:26.309-05:002022-06-28T03:27:26.309-05:00Hi Scott, how are you?
