I'm sure that since it was dark in color and kind of shaggy it looked like it might be functional during the day, but when the sun goes down if you're wearing it you just disappear.<br /><br />I also would think that if you were going to try and make this work you might want to stick to walking next to the highway rather than in one of the lanes of traffic. It'll take longer for somebody to notice you and call it in, but the safety tradeoffs are well worth it.
