My guess is it's due to vagus nerve entrapment.

Anyway, all I can advise is for you to avoid stressing your abdomen too much. Avoid heavy weights and don't let yourself get constipated. I've been almost cut off from the spiritual for two years now and it sucks.almondveinedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03424959426727574736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-40179257914599715832010-01-19T10:39:07.527-06:002010-01-19T10:39:07.527-06:00Best of luck on your healing, Frater!Best of luck on your healing, Frater!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00688466441427496085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-77604210309828219252010-01-19T02:48:21.599-06:002010-01-19T02:48:21.599-06:00Thanks for the good wishes. I can think of four or five off the top of my head just among people that I know.

I'm taking a little slower to heal up because they had to go in a second time to deal with the internal bleeding, but all is nonetheless going relatively well. As abdominal surgery goes it's really fairly minor in the overall scheme of things.Scott Stenwickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12389664381513219613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-58281242165628826492010-01-18T16:07:41.906-06:002010-01-18T16:07:41.906-06:00Good luck and many blessing for your healing. When it came back, by the gods it was the most excruciating pain I've ever known. As a martial artist and former Cav Scout, that says something!

I hope you heal quickly and efficiently! 3 days post op I was fine. Just walk as much as you can stand it.Lonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01406874832776821460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294505416127496842.post-25526627831551725442010-01-18T11:03:50.692-06:002010-01-18T11:03:50.692-06:00Happy to hear you're doing better and that thi...Happy to hear you're doing better and that this problem was resolved for you - with even some benefits as you mention.
