Here is the video of Tuesday's Ritual Night Talk, on Thelemic Ritual Structure. The latest ritual template article is here, the template works for everything article is here, and the donation link is here.
So much of magick has been published these days that there are few real "magical secrets" left. One area that is rarely discussed, though, is how to assemble the basic forms like pentagram rituals, hexagram rituals, and so forth into larger operations for specific intents. This video begins the discussion of how I teach these ritual structures to my students, in an effort to make this information more widely available.
Enjoy!
When your doing the crosses at the end of ritual do you do it that way that it looks like Swiss Cross?I mean when all sides are equal,it make more snse to me to do it that way|Like first you seal the operation from out then from inside
ReplyDeleteCan Saturn be used for well almost anything in terms of banishment or removal off something?
There are two ways to do the Qabalistic Cross. The Golden Dawn and original Liber O version is :
ReplyDeleteAteh - Forehead
Malkuth - Heart Center
Ve Geburah - Right Shoulder
Ve Gedulah - Left Shoulder
L'Olam Amen - Hands clasped over Heart Center
Crowley's later version, which I use, is modified thus:
Ateh - Forehead
(Aiwass or HGA Name) - Heart Center (I don't vibrate this in public rituals or videos because I keep my HGA name to myself, but I do vibrate it when doing my daily practice)
Malkuth - Genitals
Ve Geburah - Right Shoulder
Ve Gedulah - Left Shoulder
L'Olam Amen - Hands clasped over Heart Center
Since it's based on points on your body, neither of these is really an equal-armed cross. In the GD/original Liber O version the lower arm is too short and in the later Crowley version it's too long.
Regarding Saturn - my answer is "sort of" because while that will get a result, you can often do better to use the planet that rules what you are trying to banish or remove. Remember that planets run on sphere of influence, so you can use them in positive ways, negative ways, and protective ways as required. But if you want to banish or remove something that you can't easily fit into one of the other planets, or is related to more than one, Saturn could be a way to go.
